Whew!

Ever try pushing a cucumber through a sieve? That’s how this new story is going. I just spent the last two weeks on one chapter, most of it on one scene.

I don’t know why some sections flow easily and others feel like an ingrown toenail. All I know is that it hurts. It hurts my brain. It hurts my timeline. It especially hurts my poor Aspercremed wrists.

But I got through it.

Word By Word

And now that it’s done … onto the next.

Way to persevere, Colleen!! Let’s catch up soon… With all of the craziness and zaniness the last few weeks, I have been so incommunicado… I’d love to see some of your latest!!!

I hear ya, Colleen!! I wrote a similar post last week I think. This writing gig is hard work. 🙂 I may call to run some ideas by you. I feel lost in a cold, dark, winter forest. And now there’s a snow squall.
